What is the role of PTF?
PTF exists to: encourage, assist and support teachers, staff & parents; promote cooperation between parents & teachers; encourage parental involvement in TCS
Are there dues associated with PTF participation?
Members/participants in PTF are not required to pay dues.
What is the time commitment required for PTF members/participants?
PTF officers are asked to serve in a particular position for a 2-year term. Participants may serve in any non-board capacity as little or as much as one is able & willing.
What is the difference between the TCS school board and the PTF board?
TCS school board is the governing body of our school. PTF serves as a supportive entity to our school.
Do you have to be an elected PTF officer in order to vote?
All participating TCS parents/guardians of enrolled students are eligible to vote on PTF matters.
Parents/guardians must be present at the PTF meeting when voting takes place in order to cast your vote.
